Who are we?

We are a group of passionate Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner from Hong Kong recently relocated to UK. Due to the rising demand of Traditional Chinese Medicine, this website is established to provide professional TCM service and reliable information.

於英國的香港人日漸增多，對中醫的需求亦日漸增多，此網站由一群來自香港的註冊中醫師成立，希望可以在英國繼續為大家提供可靠中醫的服務、資訊，更希望可以把中醫的知識推廣至世界。

中醫的治療方法

Chinese Medicine Herbal Consultaion

Chinese Medicine Practitioners understand a patient’s condition through different methods, such as inspecting the tongue, listening to patient’s voice, smelling any odour, asking for patient’s history, palpating the pulse, etc. This information is useful for diagnosing any imbalance of yin/yang of the patient. Herbal medicine is then given accordingly to restore the balance and improve health condition.

中醫內科治療範圍廣泛，包括內科、外科、皮膚科、婦科、兒科、五官科等等。中醫透過望、聞、問、切了解病人的臨床症狀，從而判斷疾病的證侯和機理，根據臟腑氣血陰陽的變化，制定適合病人的治療方法和中藥處方。

針灸

Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves inserting thin needles through skin at specific acu-points. In traditional Chinese medicine theory, vital energy (qi) flows through meridians(channels) in the body. Stimulating different acu-points on different meridians can treat various diseases, such as pain, stroke, insomnia, gastric disease, neurologic disease, etc. Acupuncture is usually used with moxibustion where moxa is burned and creating heat near the acu-point.

針灸分為針刺和灸法，即針刺穴位和艾灸溫灼穴位。透過刺激穴位，可以疏通相應經絡的氣血，以調節臟腑的陰陽平衡，扶正祛邪。

推拿、拔罐

Tuina, Cupping

Tuina (which literally means push and grab) is a message therapy based on Chinese medicine theory. Practitioners may press, knead, roll, rob or chop, etc, to remove tension/spasm in the muscles and blockages of energy in the meridians.

醫師在病人的疼痛點或穴位，以推、拿、按、摩、掐、滾、搖、揉、搓等不同手法，調整骨關節問題、放鬆肌肉，亦可透過按壓穴位治療相關臟腑疾病。

Cupping therapy involves placing glass or bamboo cups on body surface, by heating the air inside the cup to create a suction effect, which can treat blockage of energy flow in meridians. Bruise marks are created but usually fade out in 3-5 days.

拔罐是透過加熱罐內的空氣造成負壓，令罐吸附在皮膚表面，使之充血、瘀血、起痧。拔罐後留下的痧斑多數會在3-5天後自然消退。
